Martina is a Stockholm-born, LA-based filmmaker and director.
She spent the first chapter of her career working as an advertising and social creative, making content for international clients like Adidas, YouTube, and Nike.
Four years ago, she transitioned to directing full-time and has shot commercials for brands such as H&M, Facebook, and Netflix.
In addition to her commercial and editorial projects, Martina directed Night All Day, a short film about life above the Arctic Circle during the months when there is no light. She also recently finished Preach, an eight-episode miniseries for UR (Swedish Public Broadcasting) about faith and anxiety.

In search of answers, she jets off to Los Angeles, America’s spiritual melting pot. Over the course of eight episodes, she meets people from all different religious backgrounds in hopes that they can nudge her a few steps closer to inner peace.
The show went live July 18th in Sweden, on the Swedish Public Broadcasting site and social. And was also made into an 8 episode podcast and radio show that aired on public radio.

H&M's Conscious line works to promote a more sustainable clothing industry. In this collaboration, together with ELLE Magazine, they wanted to tackle the extensive textile waste that isn't correctly recycled each year in Sweden.
In the campaign '5 kg', which is the weight of textiles that the average Swede throws away each year, we wanted to engage the audience and asked them to help us do their part. The campaign is a reminder for readers and customers to stop throwing clothes and textiles straight in the bin and instead remember to recycle it.
